If you like spending time in dirty bus terminals, and you like playing poker, then you’re going to LOVE the poker room at Mardi Gras Casino.

Seven Days a week from 8 AM to 2 AM the Big Easy gives you more money for your high hand and Monday through Friday at 6 PM win an additional $500!!!

Honestly, this place feels somewhat dangerous at night. There are definitely people being robbed on occasion in the parking lots – and a stabbing that I remember reading about.

Inside, you will have to drag your ass up a flight of dreary stairs to find the poker room and it’s got a really dismal feel to it. Rubber floors, lame paneling on the walls and poorly-dressed patrons  all add up to a very cheap feel to the entire room. There are probably 5 tables going at any given time and the play can be wild and the overall feel is tense.

I definitely suggest hitting Gulfstream over Mardi-Gras, or the poker room at Hard Rock in Hollywood – both of which are far superior in every way.

Okay, I’m not a fan of the place – but if you’re feeling adventurous, check it out but don’t say I didn’t warn you that the place is a dump.
